DOMAINE BESSIN-TREMBLAY

DOMAINE BESSIN-TREMBLAY

The wines of Jean-Claude Bessin and his son Romain set a benchmark for Chablis year after year. The Chablis Vieilles Vignes is a pure and refined expression of Chardonnay, whilst the Premier Crus Fourchaume, La Forêt and Montmains are supremely elegant and bursting with life. Let us not forget the Grand Cru Valmur; an awesome display of power combined with a delicate and tantalising mouthfeel. There is also La Pièce au Comte; produced only in generous vintages and made from a specific parcel within the Premier Cru Fourchaume vineyard. There are 2 hectares of vines which are harvested mainly by hand and the wines undergo an extended ageing period of up to 18 months, giving them great complexity. This is one of the most highly regarded, traditional estates in Chablis today.

CLOS DU MOULIN AUX MOINES

CLOS DU MOULIN AUX MOINES

Clos du Moulin Aux Moines is a Burgundy domaine steeped in history; named after Cluniac monks who chose the site in Auxey-Duresses to build a watermill, during the 10th Century. Today the domaine’s wines are rising stars in the Côte de Beaune, thanks to biodynamic methods employed in the historic vineyards, where only the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are selected. The wines are aged within the walls of the ancient stone buildings, without filtration. At Caskadia we import a wide range from Clos du Moulin Aux Moines, which are some of our best-selling wines.
