About
Since 2019, brothers Florent and Julien Mignon have taken the Côte des Blancs by storm, producing limited production Grower Champagne from their family vineyard holdings in the Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Avize, and Premier Cru Cuis. ‘L’Aventure’, their signature wine is am Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs from all three vineyards, which are cultivated sustainably following the strict principles installed by their father. Dosage is kept to a minimum (4g per litre) and a minimalist approach in the winemaking allows for a pristinely pure expression of Chardonnay. Florent and Julien also produce a still white wine under the Coteaux Champenois Blanc appellation, which is alive with fresh acidity and precise minerality. This was a must addition to our Champagne selection following our last visit to the region where we were warmly received by the family at their premises in Cramant. Such class!
