About
Bruno Colin’s estate comprises vineyard holdings in twenty-two appellations across the Côte de Beaune, including in some of Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet’s most prestigious sites which are steeped in tradition, such as Chevalier-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne. Bruno inherited his vineyards from his father, whose estate was divided up between him and his brother, Philippe, in 2003. Bruno began a new winemaking chapter with his first vintage in 2004, the wines have remained quintessentially Burgundian, vinified in the recently modernised family winery in the centre of Chassagne-Montrachet. At Caskadia we import five Premier Cru Chassagne-Montrachet wines and one Premier Cru Puligny Montrachet, they are each unique in their own way, reflecting subtle differences in soil and microclimate. Other wines include the estate’s Bourgogne Chardonnay and Bourgogne Pinot Noir which offer terrific value, whilst the red and white Chassagne-Montrachet village wines have outstanding concentration, elegance, and length. Bruno’s success is attributed to his ability to consistently produce expressive and well-balanced wines.
