About
Jacky Blot was a pioneering and talented winemaker in the Loire valley, known for both his still and sparkling wines. The terroir of Montlouis-sur-Loire, characterized by a type of chalk known locally as ‘Tuffeau Turonien’, has earnt him great recognition. Domaine de la Taille Aux Loups produces Chenin Blanc wines with incredible purity and a great potential for ageing, the individual vineyards sites are allowed to express themselves thanks to low levels of sulfur and the wines retain a freshness owing to the absence of malolactic conversion. The domaine was certified organic in 1988.
